We recently concluded our 5-day "All-tech" meet where 100+ folks from all over the country were flown down to our office in Mumbai. Our engineering, product, and development teams across our product suites came together for the first time this year! What do remote workers do when they meet, you ask? It was a week filled with brainstorming sessions, product feature iterations, getting to know their colleagues from the screen, and wondering how much they'd miscalculated their height! Many new folks met some of the senior leadership, experienced our guiding principles (#TheCACTUSWay) in action, and of course, participated in a whole lot of dancing, singing, and having fun! "It's energizing to experience all the tech folks in one place and work and have fun together. Events like these in a remote set-up really is a game-changer," says Kunal, our Engineering Manager. Here's a quick BTS of our jam-packed and fun 5 days!đź’Ą #PeopleOfCACTUS #LifeAtCACTUS #LifeAtCACTUSTech #RemoteWork #AllThingsTech
What a win! Earlier this week, our CTO Nishchay Shah brought home the award for building Best Innovation Leveraging AI/ML Solutions at the @amazonwebservices AI Conclave. The award recognizes our efforts in using AI algorithms and AWS’s suite of products and services to reach more researchers, automate many of our internal processes, and create new products leading to significant business growth. This means our tribe of researchers gets access to the latest and most accurate error-free academic editing services, and discover the most relevant research papers in the shortest time. This award is special as our journey with AI/ML started nearly way back in 2018 and in the last few years, the tech team led by Nishchay has grown from strength to strength. Congratulations to the whole team! #AWS #AIML #AmazonWebServices #CACTUS #PeopleOfCACTUS #researcher

A breezy affair ft. Chennai Cactizens! We organized our third location-based community meet-up last month in a quaint spot by the beach in Chennai. People from different functions and verticals had a chance to interact, share some good food and make even better memories. Although, what’s a Chennai meet-up without a quick dip of toes in the ocean? The group had a great lunch and a lovely time at the beach! The banter, camaraderie, and connections made in a short period remind us how important these in-person meets are in today’s world. They came as strangers and left as good friends with many plans made to meet more often! #PeopleOfCACTUS #LifeAtCACTUS #Chennai
“I manage different projects for introducing new innovations and initiatives that will help our clients. I do this by placing myself in the customer’s shoes to understand pain points and arrive at an effective solution”, says Rashi, our Manager for new initiatives. Before taking on this role, Rashi was a part of the Customer Care team. “One of my favorite things about CACTUS is the steep learning curve and opportunities for growth. I learned so much from my previous role in customer care. The role also helped me believe more in our guiding principle of “Trust with the simple belief that everyone is good at heart!” The work I do ensures that we can solve more of our clients' problems, improve their research papers and help them in their academic journey. If we decrease their worries, they get to focus more on their research and scientific breakthroughs." #PeopleOfCACTUS #LifeAtCACTUS #Editage
