Happy to share some amazing work done by our team for a client who owned several Power BI reports developed by a previous vendor, based on the Project 360 model utilizing Dynamics data via BYOD. These reports played a pivotal role in making business decisions. Our team has assumed full ownership and responsibility for these reports, not only maintaining them but also enhancing their capabilities. In addition to maintaining the existing reports, the team has been developing new BI reports for Finance and other departments, and also automated several reports, such as utilization, FTE by project, and RDM extract, previously handled manually. This automation significantly reduced manual workload and garnered appreciation from the client. Another area the team worked on was to develop new reports for the finance team, including the General Ledger Transaction Report, previously required extensive manual effort within Dynamics. Additionally, they established a process to synchronize data from Dynamics to the data warehouse, enabling us to design Power BI reports with dynamic slicers, resulting in significant praise from our client. Addressing refresh failures in the existing Project360 model caused by duplicate entries in the relationship model, the team implemented significant changes to automatically address these issues, tweaking existing Fact and dimension scripts used in the relationship model. A major manufacturer in the home furnishings industry asked the team to assemble retail sales data from their online sales channels, giving them their first comprehensive view of online sales of their product. The sales data from the online retailers was harmonized and aggregated into a Microsoft Power BI report for internal distribution. This aggregate sales dashboard allowed the manufacturer to more efficiently report on performance by retailer as well as explore trends as a whole. Performance and trends were made available by retailer, brand, category, product, price point, and promotion. Customer Analytics is very proud to be associated with Spark Welfare Association, Adyar, Chennai, in sponsoring the redevelopment and beautification of the triangular island next to Elliott’s Beach, as part of the Chennai Municipality's “Nammakku Naame Thittam” of 2021 – 2023. The triangular traffic island was developed to reflect the bio-diversity of what was called Neithal Nilam, (water, marshy land, marshy forest and sand dunes), one of the five types of land defined in ancient Tamil texts. The main occupations of people who lived here were fishing and producing salt. The flora and fauna in the Neithal area were sharks, crocodiles, sea birds, water lilies, thorny plants, and trees such as the Punnai (Alexandrian laurel). Ancient stone inscriptions, dating to the 9th century, found in Ambur tell us that the coastal area of Chennai was once known as Aamaiyur. Hearty congratulations to the winners of the Team Achievement Award!! Our Test Automation team has developed a framework that can be used across applications, which will help validate Data and API related functions, and which has also been approved by the client to be implemented across all their automation projects. The team has worked on the Mabl tool for automation for another client, a low code test solution enabling software teams to tightly integrate automated end-to-end testing into the entire development lifecycle. Another addition to their repertoire was working on Automatic scanning with the help of OWASP standards and manual scanning for additional coverage of test scenarios for API methods.
