Automation of a complex data update process: Our client is a non-profit entity that focuses on mattress recycling in the US and uses a ‘Coverage Insights’ application built by our team with maps and reports on the geographical coverage of mattress recycling entities. The data supporting this application needs to be refreshed on a quarterly and annual basis and is a complex process involving several manual steps. Demand Forecasting: Our client is a leading mattress manufacturer and retailer in the US. They have been using a solution built by our team for capturing demand for new product launches from their retailers, which aids in forecasting the overall demand for these new products. This solution has now been enhanced to support staggered demand capture over multiple time windows, targeting the top retailer segment first, followed by others and is supported by an automated communications engine. This helps in capturing the bulk of the demand earlier in the process and in achieving more accurate forecasts, which in turn helps in production planning. Assisting the shopping process through QR code scanning: Client stores display products with QR codes that can be scanned to view product features, comparisons and so on, on a responsive web application built by our team. The team has enhanced this platform by onboarding about 200 products with QR codes.
