From sponsorship to developing high-performing teams, she shares different ways that leaders can further drive awareness and actions to promote DEI and sustainability in their day-to-day.
We are proud that our efforts to help accelerate #sustainability across the value chain have earned us a 2023 Top Project of the Year Award from Environment+Energy Leader! As part of our sustainability goals, we committed that 50% of our preferred suppliers will set greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets by 2025, and 100% of preferred suppliers by 2030. In 2021, we launched our Supplier Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Program to help preferred suppliers deepen their understanding of how to measure emissions and set reduction targets. Through our collaboration with CDP, the program includes a multi-phased annual disclosure cycle supported by a range of communications and educational sessions and resources.
Flex is honored to be named the 2023 Manufacturer of the Year for a large enterprise by Manufacturing Leadership Council and National Association of Manufacturers - NAM. We also received awards for sustainability and innovations in Supply Chain technology. Two of our team members from Flex Penang (FPM) have recently conquered Mount Kinabalu, the tallest mountain in Malaysia and Borneo! Standing at around 4,000 meters, the towering mountain took the duo 6 hours and 45 minutes to reach the top from Timpohon Gate. Congratulations Ediasmizul Bin Shahidin, HR Manager, and Mohamad Sharaf Bin Ismaal, HR Employee Services Advisor, for this amazing feat!
