The state-of-the-art facility serves as a design and engineering hub for our #automotive and #healthcare customers worldwide. With 1500m2 of office and laboratory space and a team of skilled engineers, designers, and developers, we are able to partner with customers to get ideas from prototype to product faster and with less risk.

Laura Vacarescu, technical support manager in Timisoara, Romania, has led many design and engineering projects throughout her time at Flex to help evolve processes for better efficiency and higher quality. Laura was one of the first certified operators at the Timisoara site to work with optical fibers and has continued to develop her skillsets ever since. Most recently, she's grown in her role to take her extensive engineering skillset to a global level, supporting sites around the world and learning new technologies along the way. We nurture a work environment of continuous improvement to help team members acquire new skills, knowledge, and experiences.

Recently, prioritizing workforce health, Flex India (CIP) in collaboration with SIMS and Chettinad Hospital held a Women’s Health Screening Camp. Close to 150 Women in Flex underwent gynecology consultations; BMI assessments; and vitals, blood sugar, and hemoglobin levels monitoring conducted by medical professionals. Additionally, in raising awareness of the importance of early detection of diseases, employees were trained to identify the signs and symptoms of breast cancer in a guided session.
