I applied through university. I interviewed at Capgemini (Mumbai) in Jan 2014
Interview
I got hired through campus. It was a different kind of campus placement as Capgemini had partnered with NIIT. Capgemini came on campus Jan 2014, looking to hire May' 13 graduates. All those who had not secured a placement from the usual campus placement had a second chance.
First Round:
Aptitude Test: I got to admit, this was insanely tough. The math questions were really hard. Total 50 questions in all. No negative marking. The cutoff was not told.
Second Round:
Group Discussion: Basically, an HR was moderating the group discussion. We were given a topic and had to take sides. Pretty straightforward. Candidates that struggled with English did not make it through.
Third Round:
Hiring Manager:
This was conducted at the Capgemini office in Vikhroli. The HR manager asked some basic questions about tell me about yourself, your project. He asked me write couple of SQL queries. Lasted about 20 mins.
That was that. I was selected.
