I applied through university. I interviewed at Gartner
Interview
I applied for the sales internship. There were two rounds of interviews and one round prep meeting with the initial hiring manager. The first round was an initial briefing - they told you about Gartner and asked about things on your resume. Know your resume. The next round was a Sales role play with behavioral questions.

Question 1
1st interview: Tell me about yourself. followed by multiple questions relating to resume.
Very informal, very unprofessional, and it seemed like the interviewer was trying to rush through it to get to something else. The interviewer acted like I was inconveniencing her by asking questions about the role and how in translates into full time employment down the line.
I applied online. I interviewed at Gartner (Phoenix, OR) in Oct 2025
Interview
They asked STAR questions about your school or professional experience. They asked me how I managed skills and demonstrated leadership. The interview was not easy, but not hard. I would say prepare ahead of time.
Supportive recruitment process and hiring team. They guided me through the process giving me a good amount of support and the supporting documentation that would be required whilst also providing actionable development points to inout as the stages of the process continued
