I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Fort Myers, FL) in Oct 2012
Interview
Very intensive interview process. They get very personal and spend a lot of time trying to understand your "sense of purpose". Essentially what they are getting at is - do you have something that drives you to make a lot of money. Because if you have that and are relatively intelligent, you can make a lot of money here. And the more money you make, the more money the hiring manager makes. The more motivated the candidate/employee is, the easier the managers job
very thorough and well executed. they ask thought provoking quesitons and the interviewers were all fantastic. a lot of prep needed but rewarding experience. about 4 rounds of interviews ranging from recruiter to final panel interview
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Which traits are your strongest based on the key traits gartner looks for and how?
Sloppy recruiter
Unorganized
No follow up/lots of time between follow ups
phone screening and then panel interview via zoom
accidentally sent me someone else's resume
last minute added different executives to the interview
I received a message from a recruiter and had a phone screen with them. They said they would let me know about a follow up call, but they never got back to me. I reached back out to them to follow up, but I didn't receive a response.
