I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Gartner (Mumbai) in Jun 2014
Interview
So far this has been the best interview process. The HR Round itself was interesting as the HR had a complete understanding about the role and could explain the candidate well. The HR questions according to our experience in each previous company we have worked and what exactly our role was. This would further help us and also the HR understand how well we fit for the role applied. No fake promises about comp & ben or other perks. The Operations Manager round was crisp and to the point. A proper understanding of role in detail is given by the manager unlike other organization where the managers just beat around the bush with unrelated questions.

Interview
Very detailed and 6 rounds of interview. HR will have at least 2 rounds and talk to at least 4 Managers. Overall was good but interview process can be more streamline instead of many rounds of interview.

Interview
Very long interview process. About 5 interviews. Took about 3 months to get hired after going through all of the hoops. I had to take an excel test as one of the steps and it has to be one of the most difficult tests I have ever taken. Basically they gave me an excel spreadsheet with hundreds of thousands various data points and gave me a bunch of questions to answer based on the data that I have never seen in my life.

Interview
Pretty rigorous 5+ interview process if you are an external candidate. Gartner really wants to ensure that they only bring on people that fit the culture and are headstrong/determined individuals that aren't afraid to learn and push limits if necessary.
