I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at KPMG (Philadelphia, PA) in Nov 2009
Interview
pretty easy, 2 day interview, took us out for dinner, then grilled us with 4 long interviews the next day. All were pretty average, mostly personality/resume questions. The last interview got a little technical, but know the firm and some current events and you should be ok

It was average. General accounting terms. Foundation level. Interviewer are supportive.
First was a online test then technical round, the HR round was Salary discussion. Delay inbetween rounds and HR will ignore calls.
it was okayish, interviewed one-to-one with the audit manager, she's friendly and approachable and she asked quite few questions on audit, it was okayish, interviewed one-to-one with the audit manager, she's friendly and approachable and she asked quite few questions on audit
Two back-to-back 30-minute interviews, the first one with a partner and the second one with a director and the overall interview process was smoother than I expected. Mostly I was asked behavioral questions as I heard.
