Join our dynamic culinary team at 555 North as a Fine Dining Cook, where your passion for exquisite food and meticulous attention to detail will elevate our guests’ dining experience. In this role, you will craft beautifully presented, high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to culinary excellence. Your expertise in food preparation, team collaboration, and food safety will be essential in delivering memorable meals in a sophisticated setting. We are looking for a motivated professional eager to showcase their fine dining experience and culinary skills in a fast-paced, upscale environment. We are open 5 days a week from 5pm-9pm.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of gourmet dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all stages of food handling and preparation.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate meal service, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
• Handle food with care using proper knife skills and cooking techniques to optimize flavor and texture.
• Support catering events by preparing specialty dishes and ensuring quality control during large-scale meal preparations.
• Keep the kitchen organized, clean, and stocked with necessary ingredients while adhering to health regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fine dining establishments or upscale restaurants, demonstrating advanced culinary skills.
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry.
• Knowledge of meal preparation, plating, and food safety protocols essential for maintaining high standards.
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques required for diverse menu items.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Strong team communication skills, and a positive mindset.
• Prior experience in upscale food service operations is desirable.
