Pros
Get to work on really big projects that lots of people will use. Interesting technology uses Lots of room to grow with the company if you are willing to stick with it Will send you to conferences
Cons
Management focuses on finishes the project more than balancing work load Working as a service provider means you will have to travel potentially for months at a time. Not a problem for everyone but definitely a challenge for family focused people Hard to get good equipment and keep it maintained Compared to the contract market the developers could be paid more. Especially when you're on a team that is 90% contractors
