Pros

I have been working at Synechron, and my experience has been a mix of strong learning opportunities and a few challenges. On the positive side, I’ve had the chance to work on modern technologies and meaningful projects in the financial services domain. The exposure to clients and the pace of work helped me grow quickly and stay updated with industry trends. However, compensation is an area where I feel the company could improve. While the salary is competitive for some roles, market adjustments and internal corrections tend to move slowly. Promotions and hikes are not always transparent, and the process can feel inconsistent across teams. - I gained strong exposure to BFSI projects - I worked with modern tech stacks and digital transformation initiatives - I had supportive teammates and managers in most cases - I appreciated the opportunities for onsite roles - I experienced good learning and growth

Cons

- Compensation adjustments were slow - Promotion and appraisal processes lacked transparency - Work-life balance depended heavily on the project - HR processes were sometimes delayed - Management consistency varied across accounts

Pros

Initial offer allowed flexibility to work from my base location. Good clients.

Cons

Hire and fire culture. Very short bench policy (around 15 days or even less than that) to find a new internal project. Limited project allocation support while on the bench. Poor workforce planning and role stability. No job security during budget changes. My experience with Synechron was extremely disappointing. I left a stable offer to join this company because work was good , I was promised the opportunity to work from my base location. I started my role with high expectations only to receive an email a few weeks later stating that my position was being eliminated due to budget issues. I was placed on the bench and informed that I had about 10–15 days to find another internal project. This happened during the holiday season (Christmas to New Year), when hiring activity is naturally very slow. Realistically, it is extremely difficult to secure a new project within such a short window especially during year-end. Unfortunately, despite my efforts, there were no suitable projects available within the given timeframe and I was released from the company. It was a stressful and frustrating experience. Imagine leaving a good offer to join a company for stability only to end up back at square one within 2 months. In my personal experience, workforce planning and employee security were major concerns. I would strongly advise candidates to fully understand the bench policy and project pipeline before making a decision. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
