Pros

Love the unlimited PTO, and I love my team.

Cons

Extremely uncaring leadership team that's so heavily focused on AI, but not focused on fixing what's already broken! This is so sad!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate your candid feedback and your dedication over the past few years. We're glad to hear that you value your team and our unlimited PTO policy, those are important aspects of our culture that we’re proud of. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience with leadership has been disappointing. Your concerns about communication, strategic focus, and the impact of recent changes are taken seriously. While we are investing in AI and innovation to stay competitive and future-ready, we recognize that this must be balanced with strengthening our core operations and supporting our people through transitions. Layoffs are never easy, and we understand the stress and uncertainty they cause. These decisions are made with great care and are part of broader efforts to ensure long-term sustainability. We’re actively working to improve transparency, leadership engagement, and employee support. Feedback like yours helps us reflect and grow. We encourage current and former team members to continue sharing their thoughts, your voice matters. Thank you again for your contributions to Envision Pharma Group. We wish you continued success in your career.

Pros

Nothing good everything so old school with dying software

Cons

Worst management. No leadership. No operations still using age old methods for daily operations and resistance to change or get better. Organizations software (Datavision) so old clients slowly moving out and using software of their own.

Sinking ship

Pros

Flexible paid time off helps

Cons

Senior leadership will always put the needs of the business ahead of professional goals, growth and development. With the recent changes in leadership, there has been a significant shift in culture from being people oriented to transactional. Long hours and severely understaffed teams result in a complete breakdown of operations. Most team members are not able to stretch upward and growth is severely stunted.

It used to be a nice place to work

Pros

Being employed. Meeting some great people. Lots of experience early in your career

Cons

Constant change of leadership. Zero lateral mobility. Almost zero upward mobility unless you work evenings and weekends. Once you realise the workloads are unrealistic you might be tempted to voice an opinion about this. In my experience, they prefer to put people on a time management course or PIP them out of the company as there are lots of writers ready to replace you. Strangely, people in medical writing are usually ex-academics willing to work outrageous hours for no compensation, which is probably why private equity firms keep buying out these agencies. If you value work-life balance, this might not be it.

A company in decline

Pros

Some flexible working options and a few great colleagues who genuinely try to support each other. Benefits are decent, but that’s about the only stable positive left.

Cons

The company has been going through continuous rounds of layoffs, which has severely damaged morale and created a constant sense of uncertainty. Leadership changes have been frequent and disruptive, and there is very little transparency around decisions or the future direction of the business. Teams are increasingly understaffed and overloaded, with little recognition or meaningful support. Career growth feels limited, as most energy is focused on reacting to internal instability rather than developing people or improving processes.

Pros

Some very talented and hard-working colleagues

Cons

The culture sounds good but is just lip-service. C-suite leadership is terrible. Salaries are poor, with no raises (not even cost-of-living adjustments for inflation) and no promotions. I quit, took a job at another company at the same level (same job title). and (no kidding) my salary doubled, plus bonuses are virtually assured.
