Pros

Flat org with clear KPIs - people are competitive against KPIs and no back stabbing Really wonderful colleagues - genuine, caring and collaborative culture Good office location - convenient to travel (intersection of green and yellow mrt line), shops, amenities, childcare same bldg, etc Management - small leadership team, very focused and fair, Good stsgg benefit

Cons

Small leadership team - quite stretched, otherwise, we can do better in terms of operational improvement and support for staff Tech - a bit better now, however, still reliant on Australian HQ which means time lag Salary and annual leave - can be improved, lower than market rate

Pros

The company provides incentives for hitting targets although this breeds unhealthy competition with many advisors “stealing” performance especially from naive new advisors. There are a handful of decent colleagues with their morality intact that make the job bearable.

Cons

To protect your sanity stay far away from this company or you will fall victim to work related stress and mental health complications. Toxic working conditions are normalised and management team have 0 people skills. I urge anyone reading this to think twice before accepting any offer of employment with this company even if you are desperate to find work, it is not worth it in the long run. If you dare to raise any matter with HR and the management team prepare to be isolated and indirectly pushed out of the role through hostile behaviour which is filtered down from the senior leadership team to advisors who adopt a similar approach to save their own skin. The working environment is unnecessarily pressurised with unrealistic targets pushed onto advisors who work with some of the most vulnerable people in society. Advisors are constantly reminded that they will be put on to a performance improvement plan if their performance slips with no meaningful direction from management of how numbers can be maintained and achieved likely due to the unrealistic nature of the figures.

Pros

Work from home. Provide laptop.

Cons

Very little concern for staff wellbeing. Rampant bullying and a "face fits" culture. Active discrimination against employees with disabilities; they will on paper appear to support and care for their disabled staff - this is false. When you challenge them, discrimination suddenly is hidden behind miscommunication. One occasion a senior male member of staff told me I had to consider my managers wellbeing before mentioning my deceased daughters name. Extremely offensive and rude. Never an apology. Senior Colleagues in Teams sharing laughing emojis when sharing professional audits. My favourite memory was when I was told off by management because they had forgotten to book my daughters first birth/death anniversary. I think that shows very much the type of people within the company, and is worrying to think they are assessing vulnerable people. Half the management are brutes, the other half are too busy following them around to care.
