Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior UX Researcher to join our Product Design team. The ideal candidate will assist in understanding user needs, conducting research, analyzing user behavior, and providing insights that help design intuitive and engaging digital experiences.

You will work closely with UX/UI Designers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Developers throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key ResponsibilitiesUser Research

• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and questionnaires.
• Assist in usability testing sessions for web and mobile applications.
• Observe user behavior and identify usability issues.
• Collect, organize, and analyze research findings.
• Document user pain points and improvement opportunities.

Market & Competitor Research

• Research industry trends and digital product best practices.
• Perform competitor analysis for websites and mobile applications.
• Benchmark competitor features, user flows, and user experiences.
• Prepare competitor comparison reports.

UX Documentation

• Create User Personas.
• Prepare User Journey Maps.
• Develop Empathy Maps.
• Assist in creating Information Architecture.
• Document research findings and recommendations.

Product Validation

• Validate product ideas with users.
• Gather user feedback on wireframes and prototypes.
• Assist in A/B testing and concept validation.
• Support design decisions with research data.

Collaboration

• Work closely with UX/UI Designers during the design process.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand business requirements.
• Participate in brainstorming and design workshops.
• Coordinate with Developers to ensure user-centric implementation.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent observation and communication skills.
• Passion for understanding user behavior.
• Basic knowledge of User Experience (UX) principles.
• Ability to prepare clear and structured documentation.
• Good presentation and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of Figma.
• Familiarity with Google Forms, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Understanding of User Personas, User Flows, and Journey Mapping.
• Knowledge of usability testing concepts.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini for research assistance is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience or internship in UX Research, Product Design, Business Analysis, or a similar role.
• Fresh graduates with a strong UX portfolio and research projects are encouraged to apply.
