Job Objectives (Summary of overall job purpose)

Preparation of 3D model for Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom (EIT) equipment, cable trays, supports, generate production drawings, prepare detailed drawings and other EIT engineering deliverables in line with project and yard requirements. Follow yard EIT standards and project requirements for 3D modelling and drafting EIT drawings & deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Policies, Processes & Procedures:

Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Follow and comply to information Security Rules and data security measures in order to protect the company information / intellectual properties.

Day- to-day operations:

Carry out duties assigned by superior for day-to-day operations and to ensure them to compliance with the established standards and procedures

Prepare project deliverables for EIT engineering, assuring that they are mistake free and in line with project standards, yard EIT standard, and drafting standards.

Preparation of design drawings following Class rules and as per guidance taken from responsible engineer.

Identification, selection and design of EIT system / equipment for projects, as required

Preparation of detailed & production design and development of 3D model.

Producing of production fabrication and installation drawings

Prepare cable block diagrams and termination drawings as per guidance and instructions given by Engineers.

Preparation of Bill Of Materials, material top-ups requirements, weight calculations

Identification of changes in client provided drawings and documents, preparation mark-ups for Technical Quarries and variation orders, as and when required

Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

Operations Management:

Identification of changes in client provided 3D model, drawings, documents or deliverables and update responsible engineer.

Participating in inter-discipline checks, 3D model reviews and implementation necessary follow up actions timely, as and when required

Follow instructions & guidance by superior and ensure to produce clash free 3D model and electrical deliverables

Inspection on board vessel / rig or assemblies for preparation, verification or improvements.

Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month

• Ability to generate complete discipline drawings with Engineer's supervision
• How comfortable are you in cable block diagrams and cable termination drawings
• Do you hold experience in Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks within assigned project and to meet required deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with departmental / project objectives

Education:

• Diploma (Required)

Experience:

• EIT: 3 years (Preferred)
