Pros

-Good pay for a retail role -Diverse staff given opportunities some employers wouldn’t consider -Customers from different backgrounds not predominantly English.

Cons

-You have to be flexible work weekends, late shifts, early shifts -Customers can be abusive. In context I have received racial slurs from customers daily which makes the job uncomfortable. -You have to scan fast this then will always have complaints from customers -No customer service desk so all complaints and refunds are directed to you -Management is poor -Company focuses on its profits more than well being of staff -Poor security with lack of english means communication issues and the responsibility of thefts put on staff -favouritism plays a massive role on who is allocated good shifts and holidays
