Overview:
Application Engineer is responsible for maintenance of the organization's Application infrastructure using Jboss & Tomcat. This role involves managing and ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of Application infrastructure Platform.
Responsibilities:
Application Infrastructure:
1. Configure and Manage Application infrastructure (Jboss, Tomcat, WebSphere, DNS & F5 Load Balancer).
2. Troubleshooting and scripting skills to improve the availability, and capacity of Application Services.
3. Ensure Application infrastructure security, compliance, and governance.
Automation:
1. Implement DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, monitoring). Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Chef, Splunk, Jira, Nagios.
2. Maintain and troubleshoot scripts for automation (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
Qualifications:
- Experience:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in Middleware technologies.

Proven experience in managing and maintaining complex IT infrastructure environments.

Strong background in Servers, and Unix.

Skills:
-
Good knowledge on application server Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere.
-
Hands-on knowledge on Unix Commands and Tomcat is must.

Good knowledge on F5 load balancer (F5 Vserver, F5 pools, F5 routing at Datacenter level).

Knowledge of DNS concepts and Apache.

Good knowledge on Cert Management, Cert configuration on middleware components.

knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.

Education:

Educational Qualification: BE/ B.tech (Computer/ Electronics Or equivalent)/ MCA

Experience with Middleware Technologies (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere & F5)

Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices for service delivery and support.

Organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
