Cp - Specific heat at Constant Pressure.. It is athe amt of heat (Q) Required to raise 1 kg of substance by 1 degree Kelvin at constant pressure. (i.e., While heating no pressure increase / decrease & dnt worry about volume expansion ) Cv - Specific heat at Constant Volume.. It is athe amt of heat (Q) Required to raise 1 kg of substance by 1 degree Kelvin at constant volume. (i.e., While heating it should be dones with fixed volume )
