Office Coordinator / Customer Service & Scheduling
Downriver Pest Control is hiring an Office Coordinator to become the main point of contact for customers, technicians, and daily office operations.
This is not a basic receptionist job. This is a high-trust role for someone who is comfortable on the phone, organized under pressure, and able to help run the front end of a growing service business.
At first, this role will be broad. You will help with customer calls, scheduling, billing, technician support, customer complaints, lead follow-up, and office organization. As the company grows, responsibilities will become more focused based on your strengths.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls, texts, and emails professionally
- Convert new customer inquiries into booked services
- Schedule and reschedule pest control appointments
- Support technicians throughout the day
- Handle customer questions, complaints, and follow-up
- Help with billing, payments, failed payments, and account updates
- Keep accurate notes in our customer management system
- Help improve office processes as the company grows
What we are looking for:
- Comfortable spending much of the day on the phone
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Able to stay calm with upset customers
- Comfortable using computers, email, texting, and scheduling software
- Sales or service-business experience is a plus
- Pest control experience is helpful but not required

Pay:
$22–$26 per hour based on experience
Monthly performance bonus opportunity after training
Target first-year compensation: $48,000–$60,000+ depending on experience and performance
