Role Description

To manage and maintain high-quality technical documentation for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with regulatory, customer, and internal R&D requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Documentation Management:
  • Create, update, and maintain technical documents including product specifications, user manuals, installation guides, BOMs, test reports, and standard operating procedures.
  • Establish and enforce documentation control standards and best practices across the R&D team.
• Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with design, testing, quality, and production teams to gather and validate technical content.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Compliance & Standards:
  • Ensure all documentation meets industry and regulatory standards (e.g., IEC, UL, BIS).
  • Manage document version control, access levels, and ensure confidentiality where required.
• Software & Tools:
  • Utilize documentation tools like MS Office, Adobe FrameMaker, AutoCAD (for drawings, if applicable), and PLM/DMS systems.
  • Work with ERP systems to ensure document integration with product lifecycle processes.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify areas for improvement in documentation processes and contribute to quality enhancement initiatives.
  Train junior team members or engineers on document protocols when necessary.
  

Job Description

Should have complete knowledge of document control , Tracability content , SOP definations , glossaries and create data bank for Product files and their history records

Measurable Deliverables

Strong understanding of battery systems, power electronics, and renewable energy technologies (preferred).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
