Key Responsibilities:
 Administer, maintain, and support MS SQL Server databases across development and production environments
 Perform backups, restores, and manage recovery models
 Conduct performance tuning and optimisation (PTO) using native monitoring tools
 Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions
 Configure and maintain database servers and processes to ensure system health, availability, and security.
 Approve developers' change requests for database objects such as tables, procedures, indices, constraints, triggers, and views
 Assist developers in performance tuning and query optimisation
 Independently troubleshoot and resolve database issues in real time
 Automate routine processes, monitor database jobs, and track/document changes
 Collaborate with teams to manage database transitions across multiple product lifecycle Stages.

Required Skills:
 Minimum 3+ years of experience as an MS SQL Server DBA
 Strong knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and query plans
 Proficiency in backup/restore strategies and recovery models
 Solid understanding of HA/DR setups and replication techniques
 Experience working in Windows Server environments
 Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and techniques
 Ability to work independently and resolve issues quickly and effectively
 Excellent communication and collaboration skills
