EXL Service Interview Questions

Interview was well conducted and they filtered the candidates very well. Thay have processed the interview for 20 vacancies out of 400 applicants at least possible time. Totally I was satisfied with the interview process.

Easy, if you are strong in basics of SQL, Python, Statistics and Machine Learning. First round is Aptitude round. Please be prepare with SQL. It is most important to work as Data Analyst in EXL

There were two interview rounds: 1 technical, 1 HR. In the technical round, puzzles were asked along with a few questions based on my resume, related to the courses and projects I had done,

They ask the question from SQL, advanced SQL,one SQL project, python,Ms Excel, python project and SQL project .learn all this concept.aptitutude of exl is difficult.Good English proficiency.Study all the previous ask interview questions

There were 3 rounds. 1.) Test- Basic Aptitude questions, logical reasoning and Verbal Ability questions were there. 2.) Technical Round- Questions on Python, Case Study and Guesstimates. 3.) HR Round- Basic HR questions, SQL, Excel and Puzzles.

Total 3 rounds are there. 1 is online assesment. 2 is interview round (technical) in which -Questions related to SQl, Python, Guesstimate, Projects were asked . 3 is HR round mainly behavioral questions were asked!!

The whole process was very smooth 1.Basic Test gauging prowess in Excel, SQL, Basic Maths 2.1 round interview on puzzles and algorithms 3.2 round on guestimates 4.General Experience on understanding of problem statements

2 rounds of interview, both technical and eliminatory. HR round was supposed to take place but it didnt. It was the campus placement process. No aptitude test was being held.

I entered the Teams room on time but the hiring manager was one minute late. The hiring manager didn’t know exactly the role he was interviewing which seemed to be unprofessional. Ahead of the interview they requested me to fill in a 12 pager form which didn’t indicate the knowledge of data schema/ data architecture skills. I asked the recruiter if they require a technical/IT specialist and she said no but she wasn’t sure as the hiring manager wasn’t talking to her directly which seemed to be bizarre. They asked me to present a case study from my previous employer which took me 1 full day to prepare based on the structure of the interview. Ahead of starting the presentation, the hiring manager mentioned they required someone with technical background and at that point I mentioned that I’m not an IT or a data architect which didn’t stop him from letting me to present a 20’ case study. He asked me a couple of questions which I answered very clearly. Before we move on to the final phase of the interview he mentioned that they don’t know a general PM but someone who has cut the code on their own in the past and acted as a data architect. I mentioned that this wasn’t a requirement in the job description and he agreed this is a miss from their side. When I mentioned that he needs to inform the recruiter, he said that he would inform the person who posted the job spec to make the change which seems odd for a hiring manager who needs to create the job spec on themselves. Overall it was a disappointing experience and I’m happy things didn’t progress with the company as the whole experience was very unprofessional.

I was contacted by a recruiter for this contract role. I had a 12 minute video interview with two people from EXL. At the beginning there were three people but he dropped after yelling at me that my video wasn't on yet and then that there was buffering. What a hostile welcome. Then the other two people were unfriendly and disinterested. I am well qualified for the role but they put me down by trying to imply I didn't have the skill set. One of the people interviewing me was unintelligible in addition to being condescending. I imagine this is an employer of last resort as who would want to be treated in a nasty manner? Avoid!!!
