We are looking for an Insurance Credentialing Specialist with strong experience in provider enrollment, payer follow-up, and credentialing operations to support our growing network.
Job Summary
The Insurance Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for managing credentialing and recredentialing for providers across multiple payers. This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling high-volume follow-up with insurance companies and provider documentation.
This is a hands-on role. You will be expected to manage payer applications, maintain status trackers, follow up consistently, and help ensure providers are enrolled accurately and on time. Similar Indeed postings commonly emphasize coordinating credentialing and recredentialing, maintaining compliance, and working independently in high-volume environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage initial credentialing, recredentialing, and payer enrollment for behavioral health providers
- Complete and submit applications to commercial and government payers
- Follow up with insurance companies on application status, missing documents, and enrollment updates
- Maintain accurate provider records, status trackers, and credentialing logs
- Coordinate collection of required documents including licenses, malpractice, NPI, PECOS, CAQH, W-9, and related forms
- Monitor expiration dates and support timely renewals
- Work with internal teams to resolve enrollment delays and data discrepancies
- Ensure provider data is accurate across credentialing platforms and internal systems
- Support roster updates and payer-specific requirements as needed
- Maintain compliance with payer guidelines and internal SOPs
Qualifications
Required:
- 2–4+ years of experience in insurance credentialing or provider enrollment
- Experience working with US healthcare payers
- Strong understanding of credentialing workflows, recredentialing, and payer follow-up
- Experience with CAQH, NPI, PECOS, licensure verification, malpractice verification, and payer portals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple applications at once
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred:
- Experience in behavioral health or telehealth credentialing
- Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid enrollment
- Experience maintaining trackers, dashboards, or operational reports
- Experience with roster submissions and multi-state provider enrollment

- Providers are enrolled accurately and on time
- PECOS and CAQH profiles are always updated and compliant
- Minimal delays due to missing documentation
- Clear visibility into credentialing status across all providers
- Strong coordination with internal teams

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
