Billing Engineer Civil – Government Projects (Kerala)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Civil Billing Engineer/ Quantity surveyor to join our team. The person has to be ensuring accurate measurement, calculation, and preparation of construction bills for submission to authorities and clients. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, quantity surveying, and estimation techniques.

Responsibilities

Billing & Documentation

• Measure and calculate quantities of work executed at site.
• Prepare detailed construction bills (RA bills, final bills) for submission to authorities and clients.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of measurements, bills, and supporting documentation.

Estimation & Costing

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and rate analysis for new projects.
• Assist in tender preparation and bid submissions.
• Evaluate material, labor, and equipment requirements for projects.
• Provide cost optimization suggestions and value engineering inputs.

Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to verify work progress.
• Coordinate with procurement teams for material rate verification.
• Generate periodic reports on billing status, cash flow, and project cost performance.
• Support audits and inspections related to billing and estimation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
