Manual Testing – Software Engineer II

Join Deloitte’s Enterprise Performance practice as a Senior Engineer II, Omniverse, where you will support the design and delivery of digital twin solutions for manufacturing and industrial environments. In this role, you will contribute to platform configuration, simulation enablement, 3D data integration, and scalable solution development using Omniverse and adjacent technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to help translate industrial and manufacturing requirements into practical technical solutions that improve visualization, simulation, and operational decision-making.

Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent

As an experienced Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you'll do

As a Senior Consultant, Software Engineer on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for supporting manual testing and quality assurance activities for software products and enterprise solutions.

• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to develop test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases, document test results, identify defects, and support defect tracking through resolution.
• Perform functional, regression, and validation testing to support high-quality software releases.
• Maintain test documentation and support test planning activities across the software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments to support quality assurance objectives and release readiness.

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• 6-9 years of manual software testing experience
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
• Experience reviewing business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation for test planning
• Experience working across the software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments
• Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Technology, or equivalent degree from an accredited university

Preferred:

• Experience supporting defect triage, regression testing, and release validation activities
• Experience testing enterprise applications or business process-driven platforms
