About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically curious Website Tester Intern to support the testing and quality assurance of our scalable, high-performance web applications.

You will work closely with our full-stack engineering team (Next.js frontend, Django REST backend, PostgreSQL database, AWS cloud infrastructure) to ensure seamless functionality, performance, usability, and security across the platform.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in testing modern full-stack web applications deployed on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Test full-stack web applications built using Next.js (React) and Django REST Framework.
• Perform manual testing of frontend UI/UX components (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Validate backend APIs using tools like Postman or similar.
• Test database-driven features and ensure correct data flow between frontend, backend, and PostgreSQL.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira or similar tools.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Assist in regression testing before production deployments.
• Support performance testing and basic load validation.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Help maintain testing documentation, test cases, and QA checklists.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Understanding of how websites and APIs work
• Familiarity with REST APIs
• Basic knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Understanding of frontend/backend interaction
• Strong attention to detail
• Good documentation and communication skills
• Willingness to learn modern web testing tools

Good to Have

• Familiarity with Next.js or React
• Basic knowledge of Django / Django REST Framework
• Experience using Postman or API testing tools
• Exposure to Git
• Understanding of AWS basics
• Interest in SaaS or D2C platforms
• Knowledge of performance or security testing fundamentals

Eligibility Criteria

• Engineering degree (Preferred) – Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Strong interest in web development and quality assurance
• Freshers and final-year students are encouraged to apply

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
