1. Test Execution & Documentation • Execute detailed test cases for end-to-end LOS processes (onboarding, credit decisioning, and disbursement). • Document clear, reproducible steps for defects found during testing cycles. • Maintain and update test artifacts (test cases and scripts) as requirements evolve. • Assist in validating Business Rules Engine (BRE) logic and workflow configurations. 2. Functional Validation • Perform functional testing to ensure the LOS adheres to KYC and AML compliance standards. • Verify data accuracy across integration touchpoints (e.g., Credit Bureaus, Core Banking). • Validate the user interface (UI) and case management workflows for a seamless user experience. 3. Defect Management & Reporting • Log bugs in tracking tools (JIRA/ALM) with relevant screenshots and logs. • Participate in defect triage meetings to explain found issues to developers. • Perform re-testing and regression testing once defects are resolved. 4. Collaboration & Learning • Attend requirement walkthroughs to gain a deep understanding of the lending lifecycle. • Work under the mentorship of the LOS Functional Lead to improve domain knowledge. • Support Business QA Lead during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Required Skills & Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. • Domain Interest: Basic understanding of the lending lifecycle (Retail or Corporate). • Testing Basics: Knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and bug reporting. • Analytical Skills: Ability to read business requirements and identify potential "what-if" scenarios. • Attention to Detail: Precision in checking data entries, rule engine outputs, and compliance fields. Preferred (Good-to-Have) • Tools: Internship or classroom experience with JIRA, Zephyr, or HP ALM. • Technical: Basic understanding of how APIs work (e.g., using Postman). • Certifications: ISTQB Foundation level or equivalent.
