SECTION I: ROLE SUMMARY (Purpose of the Role)
The Cluster Tower In-Charge is responsible for execution, monitoring and control of construction activities for multiple towers within the assigned cluster. The role ensures adherence to timelines, quality standards, safety norms and coordination with cross-functional teams for smooth project delivery.
SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES
Financial / Functional Perspective
? Control execution costs and minimize wastage and rework
? Support achievement of project budgets and productivity targets
? Optimize manpower and material utilization across towers
? Support billing and milestone achievements
Customer Perspective
? Ensure delivery of towers as per committed timelines and quality
? Coordinate with consultants, customers and authorities

? Lead and monitor day-to-day construction activities for multiple towers
? Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and safety norms

? Ensure timely inspections, approvals and handovers

Knowledge of various construction types (RCC / Steel / Hybrid / MEP / Finishes / Precasting / Erection / Tunnelling / Marine Work / Fabrication / Formwork / Piling / Roadworks, etc., as applicable), methods, materials, techniques and trends to effectively plan and manage construction projects and optimize resources, ensuring safety, and maintaining quality standards
Ability to understand project/package requirements and accurately determine/ forecast the anticipated costs by evaluating materials, manpower, equipment, vendor and overhead expenses keeping in view market realities and historical data from past project deployments to prepare a detailed estimate plan (or ACE plan, as applicable) that informs budgeting and financial planning
Ability to utilize knowledge of value engineering principles (from design, methodology and resource perspective) to monitor and manage project costs across the project lifecycle, ensuring they stay within the approved budget while identifying cost-effective alternatives to improve the overall cost efficiency of the projects
Ability to understand and utilize advanced software in use across process/ project lifecycle to effectively carry out the functional responsibilities and improve usage and adoption of such tools (existing and new) across teams, aiding with enhanced project planning and execution
Ability to apply knowledge of architectural and engineering drawing standards with respect to Drawing Control Index (DCI) to read, analyze, and interpret various types of technical drawings, including blueprints, schematics, detailed drawings, GFC drawings and shop drawings to understand design specifications, dimensions, materials, and construction methods essential for successful engineering design, project planning and execution
Ability to utilize knowledge of time management, prioritization techniques, and stakeholder availability to efficiently plan, schedule, and coordinate meetings (including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items), as well as manage travel coordination, ensuring maximized productivity, minimized conflicts, and seamless execution of daily operations
Ability to understand project/package requirements and create baseline project schedules using relevant tools (such as Gantt charts, Critical Path Method (CPM), and PERT charts, Primavera, Microsoft Project, etc.) based on agreed milestones, historical data, constraints, resource productivity, and availability of resources in order to plan and track project tasks and milestones, and identify dependencies
Ability to capture and interpret data to identify trends and actionable insights on bottlenecks and inefficiencies and guide decision-making by using relevant analytical tools and visualizing data to prepare detailed update reports and dashboards on key KPIs
