Milani Electrical & Solar is a growing, customer-focused electrical and solar solutions provider, delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable service to residential and commercial clients. As part of our continued expansion, we are growing our administrative and technical support operations by establishing an office in India.

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to support our global operations by maintaining company websites and developing internal and customer-facing software applications. This role will be based in our India office and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our digital platforms are secure, efficient, and scalable.

A major focus of this role will be the development and ongoing enhancement of our custom WordPress websites. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building large-scale websites using native WordPress and Gutenberg block development, without reliance on third-party page builders. The successful candidate will be technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple development projects while providing ongoing IT and technical support.

Key Responsibilities
Website Development, Maintenance & Management

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites using Gutenberg blocks and custom themes
• Build scalable, reusable Gutenberg components and templates based on approved designs and layouts
• Develop websites without reliance on third-party page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Bricks Builder, Divi, or similar tools
• Maintain, update, and optimize company websites for performance, security, and usability
• Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and outages in a timely manner
• Implement content updates, design enhancements, and new website functionality
• Build and maintain large-scale websites containing 1,000+ pages across multiple service areas and cities
• Implement dynamic location-based content and city-specific page structures
• Ensure websites are mobile-responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for user experience
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed performance, and website accessibility
• Minimize plugin dependency by developing custom functionality where appropriate
• Implement local SEO best practices, structured data, metadata management, internal linking strategies, and XML sitemaps
• Configure and maintain lead generation forms, conversion tracking, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and other marketing integrations

Software & Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web-based and mobile applications
• Enhance and maintain existing internal systems and business applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop custom integrations with APIs and third-party platforms
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices
• Develop scalable and maintainable software solutions that support company growth

IT & Systems Support

• Provide technical support for software, applications, and internal systems
• Monitor system performance, security, and data integrity
• Assist with system integrations and automation initiatives
• Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and development standards
• Support end-users with troubleshooting and technical issues as required

Security & Compliance

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices
• Manage system backups, updates, access controls, and disaster recovery procedures
• Monitor and address website and application vulnerabilities
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy requirements
• Assist in developing policies and procedures related to IT security and governance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in website development, software development, or a related technical role
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• English-medium education preferred
• Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and modern web development practices
• Demonstrated experience with custom WordPress development, including Gutenberg block development and custom theme creation
• Experience building large-scale, SEO-focused websites with hundreds or thousands of pages
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, local SEO, Core Web Vitals, and website performance optimization
• Experience with backend development technologies such as PHP, Python, Java, or Node.js
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing custom Gutenberg blocks using React and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with mobile app development (iOS, Android, or cross-platform frameworks)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience designing scalable multi-location or multi-service websites
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment processes
• Experience integrating CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and third-party APIs
• Familiarity with website caching, CDN implementation, and database optimization
• Experience working with international teams and distributed work environments
