Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior SQL Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a prominent GovTech company offering a cloud-based ERP solution for local governments and municipalities throughout the United States.

You'll optimize reporting databases for a legacy application. Also, you will partner closely with a Tableau Developer to improve data retrieval and overall reporting performance for high-value business reports.

The contract is for 6 months, with an option to extend.

• 5+ years of experience in SQL Server (2022 / T-SQL) development.
• Strong understanding of SQL Server performance tuning.
• Experience optimizing reporting databases.
• In-depth understanding of stored procedures, views, indexing, joins, and temporary tables.
• Experience analyzing and optimizing query execution plans.
• Expertise in identifying the most efficient solution for complex SQL performance issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience supporting Tableau reporting environments.
• Experience working with legacy applications.
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts (current environment does not have a Data Warehouse).

• Optimize SQL Server databases for reporting workloads.
• Develop and optimize SQL views and stored procedures.
• Design and maintain indexes to improve query performance.
• Optimize joins, temporary tables, and query execution.
• Identify the best technical solution for performance bottlenecks.
• Work closely with the Tableau Developer to optimize report data retrieval.
