Android Developer:

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Prepare test plan, test cases, and Execute them.
• Work on bug fixing, complex customer escalations and improving application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

What are the key characteristics that would make you an ideal candidate?

• 5-10 years of experience in Android Development
• Programming Languages needed : Kotlin and Java
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and data structure.
• Expertise on Android App Components, DI- Hilt/Dagger, Gradle, REST API- Retrofit/Volley, DB- SQLite/Room, Firebase, Databinding, Architecture Components- Kotlin Coroutines, Live Data, View Model and Jetpack components, Work Manager
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries and frameworks.
• Experience in Location Services, Maps, Push Notifications, FCM, Offline Storage, Background services, Asynchronous Processing
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Proficient in writing configurable, maintainable and testable code using Junit, Robolectric
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and CI/CD tools
• A knack for benchmarking, optimization and app security
• Should have Android apps published in Play Store
