Role Overview: As an L1-NOC Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for customer issues. Your role is critical in ensuring our IT systems run smoothly by providing immediate and effective support through phone, chat, or email. This position involves monitor the complete infra and initial fault resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor IT Infrastructure:
o Monitor NOC dashboard, monitor servers, networks, and applications using monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Graffana, Nagios, SolarWinds).
o Respond to alerts, analyse logs, and determine the severity of incidents.
· Incident Management & Troubleshooting:
o Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic network, server, and application issues.
o Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams with proper documentation.
o Coordinate with internal and external teams for issue resolution.
· Ticket Management:
o Create, update, and track incidents in the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy).
o Follow SLAs for response and resolution times.
· Basic Network & System Administration:
o Perform initial troubleshooting of Access point, servers, system, VPN connections.
o Execute basic commands (e.g., ping, traceroute, netstat) to diagnose connectivity issues.
o Restart services or applications as required.
· Reporting & Documentation:
o Maintain incident logs and prepare shift handover reports.
o Document troubleshooting steps and update the knowledge base.
· Communication & Coordination:
o Notify stakeholders and customers about outages and maintenance activities.
o Work closely with L2/L3 engineers to resolve complex issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Technical Skills:
o Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
o Experience with Linux/Windows administration.
o Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, SolarWinds, Grafana).
o Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
o Ticketing tool knowledge and experience.
· Soft Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent verbal and written communication.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced 24x7 environment.
· Experience & Education:
o Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
o Experience: 0-2 year in IT support, NOC, or similar role.
o Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
o CCNA Certified System Administrator
o Any VMWare Certification
o Linux Certification
o AWS & Azure Server Admin Certification

· Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
