Skills and Competencies
14+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering impactful, multi-team technical projects.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Scala, C#, C++, or Python.
Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL data stores at scale.
Expertise in developing production-grade RESTful APIs and microservices.
Familiarity with cloud-native applications using Docker & Kubernetes, as well as on-premise solutions.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
Solid grasp of software design principles, architectural best practices, and writing well-tested, high-quality code.
Advanced knowledge of multi-threading, memory management, and query processing.

Deep knowledge of testing strategies and system health maintenance for complex systems.
Education

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is Rs4,974,300.00 - Rs8,331,900.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a completion bonus. Moody’s also offers insurance and a discounted employee stock purchase plan for limited duration employees.
